Hi, my name is Adeline and I’m a 28 years old Swiss yoga teacher.
Yoga crossed my life through my first passion: the mountain.
Since childhood, I spend my life in the mountains, skiing all winter and climbing, hiking, biking all summer. About ten years ago, I suffered from severe panic attacks while climbing and a friend of mine advised me to try to practice yoga to overcome it.
As an active mountaineer and extreme sports addict, I remember thinking that I wasn’t worth it to pay classes to do slow stretching. But quickly, what started as a side practice has become a true revelation and a lifestyle. Yoga taught me how to breathe,
find balance, develop my self-conscience and self-love, but also my body awareness and acceptance.
Today I developed my own practice and enjoy combining my passions by bringing yoga outside, in the mountains. As a certified yoga teacher in Vinyasa Yoga, I meanly teach active yoga, where we are flowing from postures to postures. However, with my certification in Bodyart, I also developed my own Power Yoga practice and also teach gentle yoga when it is time to relax and take it slow.
