Hello! My name is Sarah and I am a yoga teacher and ski instructor from Zermatt. I grew up in the Lake District of Northern England so I loved being in the outdoors from a young age.
Yoga has been with me for over 10 years. Yoga helps me to find balance, calm, flexibility and strength - in body and mind. I enjoy many different styles of yoga; Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Rocket, Yin Yang and have been practicing Hot Yoga for many years. I completed my yoga teacher training in Vinyasa Yoga. I love a dynamic and playful practice and bring that into my classes. I encourage my students to try new postures, challenging their bodies and moving in ways they might not have done before, in a safe and supportive environment.
I live in Zermatt and also teach gentle slow yoga classes aimed at aiding recovery and promoting sleep after an active day of skiing, hiking or cycling in the mountains.
Zermatt is a special and spectacular place. I look forward to welcoming you here this summer and taking yoga out of the studio and into the mountains at Schloss Yoga Retreat.
